Ferdinand Abenales
Chairman/CEO-Australia and New Zealand (ANZ)
Founder of Abenales Enterprise LLC a Private Global Equity and Venture Capital company. Ferdinand was a project management consultant/accountant with Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and American Express International (Amex) in Sydney Australia and Brinderson Engineers and Construction LP and ASI Silica Machinery LLC, in Los Angeles, USA. Ferdinand holds the degrees of Bachelor of Accounting from Adamson University (Manila-Philippines) and Master of International Business from Macquarie University (Sydney-Australia). He completed Venture Capital at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
Ferdinand is a Fellow of Institute of Managers and Leaders (FIML) in Australia and New Zealand. A member of Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), Institute of Management Consultants (Australia), Economic Society of Australia, Institute of Management Accountants (USA) and American Economic Association.
Chris Miles
VP-Business Development-Australia and New Zealand (ANZ)
Chris holds the University degrees in Science (Botany and Zoology), Education (Post Graduate) and a Diploma in Education (B.Sc,, B Ed., Dip. Ed). He has 10 years teaching in Tasmania, Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and New South Wales (NSW).
Chris has 30 years managing agricultural property including potato growing, prime beef and lamb.
Jeff Lee
VP-Business Compliance/Operations

With more than two decades of combined experience, Jeff has a proven track record in managing operational areas to meet scalability requirements in companies spanning across industry sectors including pharmaceutical, medical device, transport and specialised machinery. His career has provided him with an extensive experience in quality, relationship management and managing risks associated with introducing new products from design, manufacture and regulatory approval.
Prior to Abenales Enterprise, Jeff held senior management roles with Pharmacia (now Pfizer), ResMed, Ventracor Pty Ltd, ASI Silica Machinery LLC,. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Monash University and a Ph.D. (Science) from the University of NSW, Australia.
Paul Douglas
VP Business Development Funding -New Zealand and Australia (NZA)
Director of Seattle Global Trading Limited and has over 30 years in Trade and Trade related businesses. Educated at St John’s College, Hamilton New Zealand, Victoria University Wellington, N.Z. Diplomas in both Computer Programming and Operating and Financial Planning.
Paul has travelled extensively in Asia, Europe and North and South America, Paul has many people contacts in Governments overseas and N.Z.
Paul is multilingual and can converse in Spanish, French, English and German.
Paul created and marketed a Pet Insurance platform through Multicorp Insurance in NZ and underwritten by Lloyds of London. He was a founding member of Gasoline Alley Service Limited, a privately owned independent retail fuel company where he established the supply chain and signed 28 retail sites for supply contracts. The current owner offered to buy him out and Paul accepted.
Paul has interest in NZ politics and has served as Chairman of his local branch, been involved in arranging the Party Conference and hosting post- election television production including five Ministers of Parliament and the Party Leader.
Bede Roughton
VP Business Development -New Zealand and Australia (NZA)
Bede Roughton is an accomplished global executive with a record of effective governance and leadership in education and business sectors including developing and leading profitable international business operations for over 30 years. As the youngest Principal appointed to a New Zealand Secondary School, Bede went on to lead one of the country’s most prestigious Colleges and set up his own Tertiary Education Provider supplying as President, university level courses and Qualifications to New Zealanders and international students.
He has extensive experience as CEO and MD of companies involved in International Education; Investment and project finance; Food, Live Animal and Agriculture Export; Project Management; Commodity Trading; Property Development Technology; and sustainable Community Development. He established a Private Tertiary Training Enterprise which was registered through NZQA as an accredited provider.
Bede has been involved in businesses, corporation and Joint Venture operations between N.Z. and China. He has led a NZ Delegation to Nanjing.
Bade has been involved in N. Z. Central Government politics. Treasurer of one of the two major political parties. He has a Deputy Prime Minister and several Cabinet Ministers of New Zealand as his referees. Bede has lectured in History to Secondary Teachers for Massey University; in Pedagogy to Teachers for Ministry of Education; and in Economics and Management for NHITL.
He has postgraduate qualifications in Philosophy; Education; Management and leadership; and Effective group Leadership and Conflict Resolution.

Neil Cussen
Internal Management Consultant -Australia and New Zealand (ANZ)
Neil has 35 years of experience in the Strategic Business Advisor, Insolvency and Reconstruction industry, 25 years as a Partner.
Neil has been appointed in various capacities in over 1250 external administrations. Focusing predominately on asset recovery to the Middle Market his main objective has always been preserving businesses and maximizing the return to stakeholders.
Neil specialises in pre lending, investigatory and expert reports for financial institutions. As a strategic advisor to businesses, he has developed opportunities for companies to identify areas for improvement in operational and financial performance.
